Our story

InnoXcelerate was born out of a shared vision between two researchers who spent over a decade navigating the dynamic academic and innovation landscape of London. With PhDs and postdoctoral research in biological sciences — including cancer, bone health, and biomarkers — we’ve lived the full research lifecycle: from the lab bench to grant applications, and from data analysis to high-impact communication.

Throughout our careers, we found ourselves naturally gravitating toward the parts of science that often fall between the cracks: turning ideas into fundable proposals, making complex research understandable to broad audiences, and ensuring that scientific breakthroughs don’t just stay in papers — but reach people, markets, and policy.

We worked extensively on EU-funded projects, leading dissemination, communication, and exploitation activities, while also contributing to grant writing and strategic planning. We became the go-to people for proposal support, pitch preparation, and translating scientific outcomes into tangible value.

In 2025, we decided it was time to formalise what we’ve been doing all along — helping others innovate, accelerate, and communicate with clarity and purpose. That’s how InnoXcelerate was created: a consultancy built by researchers, for researchers, innovators, and institutions looking to thrive in the competitive world of funding, impact, and science translation.
